Customer Reviews J. M. Schindler Said: Rusting Mess ( Nov. 24th 2009 )These chairs rust badly and spew rust all over your deck. They are pretty much junk. Amazon charged me a restocking fee when I exchanged one that would not lock in place. These chairs, better brands that is, are now available for under $50 anywhere.zedok Said: DEATH TRAP ( Nov. 6th 2009 )i bought 2 of these.. one green one black.. the black one fell apart the first day and i almost broke my neck when leaning back to zero gravity. the rivits were not installed right.. i took it back.. and they said all the rivits on the black ones stuck out ..didnt seem like they went all the way threw the tube frame. ... now for the green one... the green lounger held up for a month.. all the rivits were threw the tube frame.. and i thought i was safe.. but... the plastic coated strings lining the frame and holding the material in place.. are much thiner than they appear.. and even with gentle infrequent use, the strings can snap, and i hope you have health insurance for either chair. they are very comfortable until they fail... i weigh 200 pounds and they are supposed to be good up to 250 pounds weight limit.beach bum Said: delievery 3-5 months!!!! ( Oct. 29th 2009 )Went to purcahse one for a gift until I got to checkout and it read 3-5 months for delievery. That's how they lure you in with the free delievery qualification....Justin Robertson Said: Great chair at this price level ( Oct. 28th 2009 )I paid $53 each for 3 of these chairs and had them shipped with Super Saver shipping. At this price point, the chairs are a very good value. They are true 'anti-gravity' chairs, which is a term with a well-defined meaning - they basically recline all the way back so your head is at the same level as your feet above the ground. Some of the chairs that look like these don't recline all the way to the anti-gravity position...I have some like that and after comparing both I'm strongly in favor of the true anti-gravity chairs. These chairs are exceptionally comfortable - I have been testing this by using them indoors to watch movies. They work well for that task, and it's certainly possible to fall asleep in them. The construction is acceptable for this price point, but that means they're not heavy-duty. Of the 3 I ordered, two had minor problems: one had a broken piece of plastic in one of the arm 'locking' mechanisms that holds the chair at a recline level and another had a screw head sticking out of the bottom frame which would scratch a wood floor if the chair were drug over it. It's important to note that these chairs shouldn't be left outside in the rain on a regular basis as they probably will rust. The metal frame has a thin protective coating and screws/bolts aren't coated at all. So if you expect your chairs will get wet regularly then you'll probably want to get something else. My rating of 4/5 stars reflects the aforementioned quality control error on what is otherwise an excellent chair at this price.pam1051 Said: Best ever for people with back problems ( Oct. 20th 2009 )I bought this chair for my husband who has back problems that cause a great deal of pain. He also has edema (swelling of his legs with water retention) so he has to sit with his legs above his heart each day in the afternoon. It has been fabulous, the only problem is he falls fast asleep because it is so comfortable. Good quality and easy to use.« Back |
